A reusable first-pass QA template for clearer, more reliable spreadsheet data.

The Data Cleaning Toolkit helps you review recurring Excel and CSV files before analysis, reporting, or import. It makes common issues visible row by row so you can decide what to correct without silently changing uncertain data.

What it catches

  • Duplicate order or record IDs
  • Missing customer name or email fields
  • Negative quantities that do not match a Returned or Cancelled status
  • Mixed, invalid, or ambiguous date formats

How it works

  1. Paste data into the Input tab using the supported column structure.
  2. Review the QA Flag column to see issues row by row.
  3. Optionally use the Google Sheets automation to create a cleaned copy and change summary.

Designed for

Freelancers, small ecommerce operators, and operations or data-admin staff who receive small-to-medium order or customer-data tables and need a repeatable first pass.

Important limits

Your data stays in your own workbook: AleFrontier does not upload, access, retain, or process it. The toolkit expects the documented input columns, does not perform custom mapping or fuzzy matching, and keeps ambiguous slash or dash dates as review items rather than guessing their meaning.
